You must be a part of the Spirits of the Wind Yahoo! Group while you belong to Spirits of the Wind.

In order to be a part of the Yahoo! Group you need to have a Yahoo! handle/profile/log-in name. If you do not have one, it's very easy to set up an account. Click the link below to get your own FREE handle from Yahoo! It will ask you to sign in or sign up. After you create your new handle, it will remember you wanted to sign up for the news group.

If you do not join the Yahoo! Group for Spirits of the Wind, you will receive an email after your first week of fighting notifying you that your site is suspended from receiving votes until you join the news group.
(Please do not sign up of the group unless you are on staff at MR or are accepted to Spirits of the Wind or MR)

You must vote for yourself at least 3 out of the 4 days to remain active. If you do not vote for yourself the required 3 days and do not inform the Team Leader (TL) why you are/were not able to do so, the following will occur:

1. You will receive a warning notice via E-mail the first week reminding you of the required 3 day self-voting rule.
2. If you go a second week without voting for yourself the required 3 days, you will receive a 2nd warning notice via E-mail and will be dropped back to the second level (Southwind).
3. The third week of no self voting you will receive a letting disqualifying you due to non-participation, not answering email attempts of contact, and/or not joining the Yahoo! Group.

If disqualified and if you wish to return, you will have to re-submit your site and start from Level I (North Level) upon acceptance. **special circumstances may override the rule**

Please inform the TL or ATL a week before you are going on LOA. TLs realize things pop up suddenly but if you know you are going on vacation 2 weeks in advance, all we ask is be courteous and inform your TL or ATL in advance.

You may take a LOA for up to two (2) weeks at one time. Approval from Yvanna, owner and queen of Mystickal Realms, must be sought after for an extended LOA time. Special circumstances, i.e., family visiting, extended vacation time, etc., may allot a longer LOA time. If you are not approved for the extended LOA, your site must resubmit your site to Mystickal Realms upon your return. Yvanna has final say on extended LOA status.

LOAs may be taken the week you are at the championship level if deemed urgent (i.e., death in family, hospitalization, computer malfunctions, etc.,) by Yvanna. If you need an LOA, email your request to your TL or Yvanna directly. She has final say on Championship LOA status. Her word is Law (hehe)

You may place ONE (1) vote per day per e-mail and ISP!!! What does that mean exactly? You can vote for EVERYONE on every level, but you may only do it once a day with one email and one IP number. We are capable of checking your IP. All duplicate votes are deleted.

This is the qualifying level. It does not matter how many votes you get. The only way you advance to Southwind (level 2) is by voting for yourself Monday - Thursday. ALL fighters (that means you) who vote for themselves Monday - Thursday will automatically advance to Southwind, regardless of how many votes they receive.

You have two (2) weeks to advance to Southwind. If after two weeks you have not advanced to Southwind, you will be disqualified for non-participation.

You have to resubmit your site information if you want to be in the competition a second time. You can resubmit your site at http://twopagans.com/joinmr. You do not have to rejoin Spirits of the Wind if you don't want to. There are four other wonderful teams that would love to have you.

At the South Level and East Level the competition really begins. Again, you must vote for yourself everyday,
Monday thru Thursday, to advance to the next level. If you miss a vote, you will not move on no matter how many votes you get from supporters The top three fighters from Southwind will advance to Eastwind; the top two fighters from Eastwind will advance to Westwind.

This is the final round! Only one fighter (you, again) can make it to the Championship Round(s).

You will not advance if you do not vote for yourself ALL four days no matter how many votes you receive. The next fighter who has the most votes AND has voted all four days will advance.

If all fighters have not voted the required four days, no one will represent Spirits of the Wind at the Championship level until the following week.

You will have two weeks to move up to the Championship Round; if you do not, you will move back to Southwind.

There are two levels at the Championship Rounds.

First level is called Apprentices and the second level is Alchemists. The two fighters (yes, that's you) with the most votes will advance to the second level, Alchemists, to compete. All other fighters on Apprentices will be returned to their team's second level (ex. SotW's second level is Southwin; did you forget already?)

At the Alchemists you receive the title of Mystickal Realms Champion after you have won three (3) times in a row.

After you have accomplished the goal of winning Alchemists three weeks in a row, your site is retired and will be asked to come back in January of the following year to compete in the Tournament of Champions.

There is only one round at this level, and lasts only one week. If at the end of the week you hold the most votes, you are named the reigning champion and receive prizes (YAY! Presents!)
